Tomorrow X Together (TXT) is a five-member multinational boy group comprising Soobin, Yeonjun, Beomgyu, Taehyun, and Huening Kai. The group debuted on 4th March 2019 under Big Hit Music — the label behind BTS — and attracted intense anticipation before a single note was released, as the first new act signed by the company following BTS's global breakthrough. The members' trainee years, however, were reportedly far from glamorous: they came up at a time when Big Hit was still a modest outfit, only to watch their label transform into one of the entertainment industry's global giants within a few years. Their fan base goes by the name MOA.

A Growing Universe

TXT has built a reputation for constructing an unusually coherent artistic world across its discography — one that traces a journey outward from the individual self toward a shared sense of community. Each year the group marks its debut anniversary on 4th March with a fan event called "Dream Week", which has consistently drawn strong responses for its imaginative concepts. This year, with the seventh anniversary arriving, the event expanded in ambition, revisiting the arc of the group's entire career since 2019. In early March, a prelude video for a new album — titled *7TH YEAR: When the Wind Briefly Stopped in the Thorny Thicket* — signalled the opening of the next chapter. Later that month, at a fan concert series called "MOA CON", the group prepared different cover performances and encore songs for each show, sustaining a close dialogue with their audience.

That seven-year journey has now found a physical form. On the 13th, an immersive exhibition called *LAYERS OF US* opened at The Seoul Lichtum in Seoul's Seongdong district, running until 6th of next month. The show translates the messages and conceptual world scattered across TXT's albums into a spatial experience: visitors are invited not merely to look, but to listen, to smell, and to participate — inhabiting the group's timeline rather than simply observing it. Interactive elements include leaving personal messages for the artists and creating customised keyrings using imagery from the group's album catalogue.

Making Waves in Japan

On 19th May, TXT will release their fifth Japanese single, *Setsuna Hanabi* (セツナハナビ). Ahead of the launch, the group unveiled an advance track, "Nice to Meet Ya", on the 3rd, and on the 8th staged a special collaboration with the 2026 Jingu Gaien Fireworks Festival in Tokyo. One of Japan's most prestigious summer events, drawing roughly one million visitors annually, the festival featured an approximately five-minute fireworks display choreographed to a medley of TXT's hits — with a preview of the new single's title track played publicly for the first time. A large-scale fireworks show built around a single artist's music is unusual even for an event of this scale, and observers in Japan have pointed to the collaboration as a measure of the group's standing in that market.

The Road Ahead

The central question facing TXT as they enter their seventh year is whether a group that has been together this long can continue to connect with fans in ways that feel genuinely new. Their recent activity — simultaneous album rollouts, an immersive exhibition, and a headline-grabbing partnership at a major overseas festival — reads as a deliberate attempt to extend the group's intellectual property beyond music consumption, inviting audiences to inhabit a world rather than simply stream a record.

The longer-term test is whether this diversified content strategy translates reliably into album sales, streaming numbers, and tour revenue. Whether landmark events such as the Tokyo fireworks collaboration can convert symbolic momentum into measurable commercial results will be the most telling measure of where Tomorrow X Together stands as they move beyond their seventh anniversary.
